I2S provides balance calibration and repair services for analytical balances, precision balances, top loading,
and moisture analyzers.

 

The Preventive maintenance program designed to manage laboratory balance maintenance schedules, prevent breakdowns, and ensure that equipment is safe and operational. Integrated Instrument Services guarantees the accuracy and reliability of the equipment while reducing running costs and downtime due to breakdowns.

We recommend annual Balance Preventive Maintenance to minimize their failure, maximize run time, and reduce repair costs. During our annual visit our service technician(s) will perform:

 

 

1. Eccentricity
2. Span or Sensitivity adjustment
3. Linearity
4. Repeatability
5. Thorough cleaning of the balance pan and shields

We offer three service levels of Balance Preventative Maintenance
 

1. Balance Performance Verification (basic research labs)
a. Balance leveling.
b. Balance Calibration.
c. Cleaning.
d. Calibration sticker with service date and due date.
e. Service work-order.

2. Balance Performance Assurance (as returned calibration service)

a. Balance leveling.

b. Balance Calibration.

c. Cleaning.

d. Calibration sticker with service date and due date.

e. As Return calibration certificate.

f. Service work-order.

Why Preventative Maintenance?

 

Balances and other laboratory equipment are sensitive instruments that require routine preventive maintenance (PM) to ensure accurate and reliable performance. Neglecting PM balance service can lead to equipment failures and/or erosions.
